Thanks I decided to go for the Autoglym protection in the end as I am a lazy git when it comes to ever polishing cars.

Looks nice ,bet you can't sleep.

Out of interest did you check the mileage on the car and if so what was it, I have been told by the dealer all S and RS cars are extensively tested at the factory and that my S3 could have about 50 miles on the clock when delivered. Not really very happy but what can you do, not sure if they are taking the p8$s.

The mileage was 22 so quite good really BUT I was told once that if you hold in the trip reset button on Audi's below 80 miles it goes to ZERO not sure if it is true but might try it on collection :)

I've heard the dealers can reset the mileage if it's below a certain value but firstly I'd imagine this requires more than simply pressing a button in the cabin and secondly I'd be very surprised if this worked more than once as otherwise they could keep pressing it and rack up a shedload of miles on it before delivery.

I was told by a VW dealer that they could reset the mileage a couploe of times so long as the mileage was less than 100. This is how they could let people test drive brand new unregistered cars apperently... But this was a wide boy saleman talking...

Two people I work with have had this treatment carried out, both have needed to return within 6 months as the water stopped beading on the paintwork and the treatment needed re applying, a dammed expensive polish in my opinion, nice car though.........
