my new S3 missbehaving :(

hi,

ive had my 2007 S3 for 2 weeks and noticed it randomly missfires when crusing at around 40mph. this has been getting worse so i rang audi assistance and the guy came and found the problem to be the fuel pressure regulator. has any1 come across this before. i am booking it into audi 2moro and getting it sorted as its only done 13000 miles and is still under warrenty.

other than that i am loving my car

if any1 could help it would be appreciated

Misfires I have heard of, but not down to the fuel pressure regulator on the Mk2 S3.

To be honest I've not heard of many FPR's failing, but be interested to see what they sort out for you at the dealers.

it went into the dealers today and its the fuel pressure regulator, it was throwing too much fuel into the cylinders and not burning all the fuel. the part needed is on backorder and should take around a week. they gave me a brand new a4 2.0tdi fully loaded so im happy to use that for now.
at least ill save on fuel haha
