Have had my polo sinece 2000 from new.
Have had nothing but trouble with it right from day one.
Faults were mainly electrical:
window winding motor/switches both doors replaced 2x
Dashboard light constantly on
doorlocks both side replaced 2x
worn seat replaced (spring came through)
Busted backrest (being dealt with at this moment
Ignition switch (on the 2nd day we had the car
All in all 20 faults all under warranty.
The best I could wangle out of VW was an extra 12 mths warranty.
This car feels very old already and has only 58k.
Our previous 2 volvos had 150k with hardly a thing wrong
My previous encounters with VW were the air cooled type 2 beetles and a variant
Again trouble free motering.
Personaly, I will never ever buy a VW again, because the one I have got is C**p /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
