Looks like £1600 worth of box...
Box is too big to be mirrors! Very mis leading if it is...
you know it is
New turbo maybe lol?
Something that looks like a snails house?
My Sig gives it away anyway with it saying gtx3076r for saleAnyway i'm not as bad as mojo Its a OD HTA GT3582r Turbo full spec rated at 700+bhp thought its not going to make that as i'll be happy with over 600bhp
Bill said he prefers the HTA over the GTX turbos with better spool but i'm stepping up from a GT30 to GT35 I wanted more power so i hope with turbo will be better than the GTX
That is a damn fine looking bit of kit
whats the deal what Owens Developments do to it?Do they simply bling it up?
Metal cage, OD billet compressor wheel, 2mm back plate, conical nut, etc
HTA billet wheel and owens backplate... plus looks like they use a 'bullet' style shaft nut to aid airflow... Bill has an OD HTA 3071 in for a customer at the moment... they are nice turbos and should help spool etc...
I would have done this if I had the extra cash but will get what I have up and running first then look to do a billet upgrade next year maybe...
Nice one Andrew
OOH EH EH
you might want to sit down, relax and break out the lube for this one
Mines not going to be 58 psi. I would like to keep mine at a reasonable level like 35 max
is that 3.5 bar
I love this game!
Did you get the metal cage bearing fitted or is it still the std Garrett plastic cage bearing?
To go with the turbo i also got these
Very nice mate, after seeing the difference between mine and James lcr billet 3071's on very simular specs it was very clear if I ever changed that hta or simular would be the favoured comp wheel
Can't wait to see it running
Only shame about this turbo is that it's not on show on a sidewinder in place of a headlight with no tip or filter
Just need my new down pipe and exhaust now
I know what you mean but i would be worried about a bird been sucked in there damaging that lovely billet wheel
Definately....was only playing
I'd never have to balls to do that.....it's all about the protection
Will let you know how i get on with it
looks like a work of art
If anyone wants to read up on this type of turbo then read here M-spec turbos Owen Developments M-Spec Turbos
awesome looking turbo!! im using a HTA 3071 with billet comp and tial housing carnt wait to see the figures what did you pay for this if you dont mind?
Just shy of £1600 without a exhaust housing as I'm planning on using the one I have now
Got my housing back after machining to fit the 35
Do the 30 and 35 turbos use the same housings? what ar is it?
And do you plan on keeping the Cts mani? What's your opinion of it, good and bad?
Sorry for all the questions lol
35 has bigger turbine wheel to my 30 so housing needs boring out. It's a 0.82 A/R exhaust housing.
CTS manifold seams to flow well so I'll keep it as I know monster performance ran one on there 700+ bhp s3 and that was still running a 38mm waste gate. I'm going 44mm Tail water cooled waste gate next.
