    That looks awesome

Was thinking of a s4 but that looks spot on

    Is this lowered?
What is needed for those alloys to fit and cost?

What tyre size are they too

I do like more oem looking cars these days and find these age models look beat at near standard

ive no idea on tyre sizes at a guess 225/40 or 45

and adapters seem ok no problems so far

well used your post as an excuse to go for a spirited drive and yeah pretty good can tell when you are on a bumpy surface
but i can put that down to the 215/35 tyres aswell.
i might upgrade dampers at a later date, but at moment im happy with the ride quality

cheers bud, hopefully look alot better when its put back together

not a massive update but a needed 1. bought some new bits [IMG] also some body rounded this screw off so had to dremal it out, the cover was snapped in half when i bought the car, so trying to make it as mint as possible [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] also if you look above the lights, you see the rubber seals. bought the drivers side not realizing the passenger side needed replacing aswell [IMG] did this a while ago but its fitting with this update before [IMG] after [IMG] also lights were showing there age, so sanded them down and polished them up. and replaced side lights with led bulbs and put silver indicator bulbs also. so before [IMG] after [IMG] mk4 golf aero wipers arms and blades. and new polo rear wiper [IMG] and the heater control was warn, this also has done my head in since day i bought it before [IMG] removed from the car, and unscrewed these [IMG] [IMG] remove front and unscrew these screws [IMG] pushed out the old buttons and replaced the warn buttons slight colour difference so replaced all the buttons to match each other [IMG] [IMG] and put back in the car, all working [IMG] no idea why its messed up my post, and put it in continuous post

Awesome S3. S4 wheels are the best for it IMHO.

    Stunning Golf, too.

    I love your garage :D

    Lovely car truly stunning.

I'd be interested in how you polished your headlights and materials you used?

Its a job I'm keen to do my S3 I bought a 3m kit off the Internet but dubious about using it.

i basically did what tufty did, apart from i started at 1200 and worked up to 2000 w&d

    http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a3-s3-forum-8l-chassis/152781-headlight-restoration-pics.html

from a A4 but A6, A4, A3, A2, all share same buttons just different surrounds etc, so if you find a set in a scrappy etc just strip it down. and push the buttons out really easy to do

yeah tbh dont think it be much cheaper if i did it myself

yeah i thought that, but dont think 225/40/18 would make that much of a difference without going lower.
thing is, its virtually same setup im running on the avus wheels 18x8 215/35/18.
