looking good mark, copycat, LOL
I have to say i think its looks better on your car than mine though.
i should have a facelift grill for sale soon. should be getting an s4 one soon.
Ian, how much etc mate, any ideas?
Seen new pattern ones for Under £30 delivered
Nah, i would never have thought of it , had you not done it, and provided me with the tint stuff. A am also 100% yours is executed better than mine too, i recon the first time i wash it, i will catch an edge and rip them off,lol
was thinking £20 but i will have to see if i like the s4 one first, getting it with some other s4 bits.
Ok mate, if not, i may help you with taking the S4 one from you, i like them ones..
I got bored today
Not wired to the engine bay yet thanks to our delightful weather, but it was a way to fill the voids left when i removed the heated seat switches
that looks pretty cool
is that writing backlit aswell?
yeah and dims witht he dash wiring too,lol
Not 100% but better than hoofing great holes. If i were to do it again i would slightly lower the LED display to make viewing from the drivers seat a little clearer, and maybe shield the back light LED somehow to lower the glare. Its nothing much but if i were being critical.
Looks ACE! better that the blue
You have been busy. Cars looking great
as the led digits are set back a bit can u see them from drivers seat, not that you really want to when your driving is it for diags?
I set them back to make LED itself more hidden and to make the finish neater. I have just tried to take some pics from my eyeline whilst in the drivers seat, not the best. but as soon as they are uploaded will wadge em on here
Good work mate.. I like that a lot.
Need to get the left hand one reading 24 PSI now (preferably on a GT40 turbo).
ROFL, aye that would only provide a piffling 600hp though.
What you really need is TWO GT40R's and 4 more cylinders, that way you can get a nice round 1200hp.
Loving the double-DIN headunit. I had to go out to my car to check what you'd done to get it in... I was thinking "all the stuff's there that's in mine, so how does it fit in?" - Now I can see the ashtray has moved down a lot! Was it a hard job?
Giles, it's a complete console swap from a 2001 S4 with double DIN, its all different, the outer, cage, climate, ashtray, and even the gearlever trim.
I want the double din unit in my car, but if i fit it ill probably blow it all up
Anyone know if the oil pump on the Ajl engine is the same as the AEB/APU engine? It's still an 058 block isn't it? ETKA doesn't seem to list the AJL for some reason..... grrrr
