why did it fail? do you mean because you don't have adjusting motors with these lights or because of the beam pattern. i'm interested cos i might have the same problem when it comes to my next mot. i assumed because not all cars have levelling motors that it would not be an mot fail.

I think the leveling is due the angels being e marked, but they point to the right side, instead of the left for the UK. It isnt really that noticeable when driving, but just slap the original lights back on and it will be fine!
