Unfortunately here is my 2001 Audi S3 for sale. I have owned the S3 since October 2009 and it has brought much joy to my life! The car is washed once a week and regularly polished and waxed. A mini detailing session is carried out every few months to keep it spotless for the show season too! I’ve been a VAG enthusiast since the age of 13 (I’m now 24) so I’ve always known how to look after my cars. I’m also a member on Audi-Sport.net where the car is quite well known on there.

When I purchased the car it was completely standard apart from a Superchips stage 1 remap running 245bhp. From there I have carried out several modifications and they weren’t cheap either! From maintenance to modifications I have spent a lot of money regardless of cost to make sure it’s perfect. The car is now running a very healthy 270bhp.

    Brief information:

Ebony Black Pearl (the best black on the S3!) Colour Code - LZ9W
    2 previous owners
    78500 miles
Audi dealer service history and Audi specialist history
    MOT until 01/13
    Tax until 07/12

    Engine:

1.8 20v Turbo (AMK engine code)
K04 turbo fully rebuilt by CR Turbo Engineering with 360° thrust bearing
Longlife custom cat back exhaust system with a 200 cell sports cat. I went for slightly bigger exhaust tips to maintain the original look. This includes lifetime warranty.
    Superchips Stage 1 remap
Forge 007p diverter valve with yellow spring
    Forge turbo hose
    Badger5 3” TIP
    Jetex open cone air filter
    Jabba Sport heat shield
3” cold air feed pipe running from air filter down next to passenger fog light
    THS Motorsport upper boost hoses
    Forge front mounted intercooler
    Forge brake vacuum hose
    Forge breather hose kit
    N249 Bypass
Oil catch tank with breather filter
Forge DV pipe changed to a silicone vacuum hose
FPR (fuel pressure regulator) pipe changed to a silicone vacuum hose

    Chassis:

    AP coilover suspension kit.

Audi TT Ronal wheels powder coated in Anthracite Grey with very good tyres all around.

H&R 30mm hubcentric spacers on the rear and 20mm hubcentric spacers on the front.

Lamborghini Gallardo rear calipers on the front of the car
    Custom caliper mounting brackets
    Stainless steel braided hoses
    323mm Leon Cupra R discs
    EBC Red Stuff Pads
Plenty of life left in the brakes, still look new!

I had the calipers fully rebuilt inc. new pistons, piston seals, and dust boot seals. I also had them professionally reconditioned in bright red.

    Exterior:

Genuine Audi S3 Alu mirrors (came as standard)
    Amber led sidelights
Xenon bulbs changed to 8000k (still have the original 4300k bulbs aswell)
Fog light bulbs changed to Mtec golden yellow bulbs
Front headlight indicators with Silvatec bulbs
Smoked side repeaters with Silvatec bulbs
    Front Audi badge colour coded
    Front grille surround colour coded
    Leon Cupra R splitter
Front headlights tinted with smoked tint film
Front fog lights tinted with yellow Lamin-x tint film
Lower grille in bumper removed to show Forge intercooler (grille will be provided to new owner if they want it back on – just clips in from behind)
Rear lights – clear section has been tinted with smoked Lamin-x tint film
Xenon white rear number plate lights
Rear Audi badge removed from boot
    Beesting aerial

    Interior:

Standard electric S3 Recaro seats in cream leather
    Standard armrest to match seats
    Genuine Audi car mats
    Ambient lighting
All interior bulbs changed to xenon white inc. interior roof lights, sun visors, glove box, and boot interior lights.

    In Car Entertainment:

    Audi Concert Bose Stereo
Fully amplified Bose system meaning all speakers are powered by the Bose amp and not just the rear half (majority of S3’s come with half amplified)
Twin Bose subs in boot side compartment
    6 disc CD changer

Usual stone chips on the front, not too bad for an 11 year old S3 though! Rear passenger light has a very tiny crack in it but does not affect anything at all.

It is a VERY clean car for this age, always gets attention at shows & meets, even on the Audi Sport forum where I’ve received comments such as, ‘the nicest S3 on the site!’ (PS. thanks guys!).

I also have a 3" downpipe which i was going to put on but never had the time. With the 3" downpipe on and a Stage 2 remap you will see the 280bhp-285bhp mark easily. If a good price is agreed then i will throw this in with the sale.

    Price: 6800 ono.

    :(

I am so sad to see this up for sale, whoever buys it will get a great car that has been looked after regardless.

The amount of times I have watched him detail it before we go to the pub !

Please someone buy it and take it to the next level.

GLWTS! This car is a truly stunning example, Fella and you've obviously invested bucket loads of time, money, thought and love into the build. Hope it doesn't leave the site. xx
