My 1971 1380 Mini

Hey chaps, just a couple of pics of the Mini I'm always mentioning in other threads! It may not be the most amazing Mini ever, but it's rocking 120bhp and weighs just 600kg, and makse me a thousand times happier than the audi could ever manage!

Excuse the mother in some shots, it's mothers day so I can let her off for being in the way

Car is currently sat as high as it can go on the coilovers, as it was to get on the rollers. I just didn't get time to drop it to normal height before I left.

Just needs badges and a grille surround to complete

Eddy!!!! how long have you been on the site mate? Hows the A3 going? Not still thinking of selling it are you?

Mini is doing great thanks since you last came in it it's got about 50bhp more and 100kg less weight!

awesome, yea im not to bad thanks bud, the a3 is still alive, and will be kicking by wednesday afternoon as its remap time at last, yea will deffinately have to sort something in the easter, havnt seen you in a while

I'm the opposite I practically grew up in minis, but don't feel the urge to have my own great cars, just not for me lol

BEAUTIFUL mate, BEAUTIFUL...

I had a 1971 1275GT in blmc aqua, blended in group 2 arches and white 10" minilites, twin 1 3/4 su's, 421 zorst mani, straight thru zorst, standard bore but midget head (they were a couple of thou thinner than the gt's) and straight cut box, pretty much beat everything around, lost all the pics of it in a housemove wish I'd kept it......

Great little conversion!

I had the use of a Mini 'John Cooper Edition' 1.3s (1990 G reg) whilst I was at Uni and whilst it was a hell of a lot of fun to drive the brakes were absolutely shocking. That said many happy memories!

Bet this is a riot, looks much better in it's latest incarnation.
