MRC Chip, Generic or Custom? Sorry to post again! Need a quick answer!

Hi guys, well Iv got the money for my remap, well £450 of it...

Its enuff for a generic chip, finding the other 50 shouldnt be tooo hard for the custom!!

Robert Cockings aint replying much.... any1 know why?

Doug @ MRC has replied with some good info tho.

Which should i go for?

Is it worth the extra £100 for the custom?

They seem to be the only people able to chip my car! But hopefully ill see good results!

cool post how you get on at mrc i hope to go there for a custom once i save up by february some time, they map in real time so should be one of the top maps out there

Just looking at Custom code over on Vag20v....

Any1 used this? Theres sumwhere close to me in Plymouth that can do it!

i was considering custom code but i think the real time would give a better map, no restrictions of the RR and all that!

Got custom MRC maps in both my cars and am very pleased with the results. I'd say go for it!

Hi, this is my first post. Am picking up a new 2006 A6 - 2.7 tdi Tiptronic Quattro. But am disapponted to hear it is only 180bhp. 0-62 is around 8.9 seconds.

Was just wondering if a chip would take it upto 225bhp? thats a 0-62 of 7.1.

Does anyone have any info on the New A6 tuning at all?

Arrghhh... this is POooooo!

Well, I cant have either of my local tuners do my car. Neither can do the MRC or the Custom Code chip on my car. both need the car for a few days so they can post the ECU off and have it done by the top guys!

So looks like im back to MRC as that seems best.....

going to have to try and get up there ASAP!
If im going alll that way I suppose I should spend the £500 for the custom map too!

Well lets hope i can get up to see Doug soon... shame they're closed Sunday!
