Well,

Before the A3 I had a Leon, 1.9TDi, Recaro Seats, On Air and 3 piece wheels but I've upgraded to an A3 and my project has just began.

My first thing was to get new number plates, I've always wanted a set of the gel ones, so ordered set of them.
12528531_1331753643507466_1309883847_o_zps4fjvzhye.jpg
Next one the list was to de-badge it.

Even though it's dirty I think the back end looks much cleaner with only the audi rings. I've the lights coming soon which will improve it even more, along with the toebar and mudflaps coming off.

I've a few things ordered and booke which will help.

- Airlift Performance struts have just been delivered as I write this.
- Rear MY11 led lights ordered
- Facelift 8P3 Bumper ordered
- Booked in for a wrap
- New wheels

My Plans

- Remove toe bar
- Remove Mud Flaps
- Dewiper

Oh yeh that will look nice on air with new wheels

Car's just been left to get a full colour change, can't wait to see the outcome.

My bumper arrived, it's huge.

Never been a fan of vehicle wrapping.

Think you've just converted me, awesome!

To be honest, I'm not sure yet. The person that did it for my car did a horrible job and I need to get most of the car redone.

Otherwise I dewipered the car with the Kill All Wipers kit and new facelight tail lights.

Yeah I had planned on getting the recess made smaller as it looks ridiculous but I had no other plate with my personal reg on it but I'm going to order one Asap. The tow bars getting removed as soon as I find someone who can plastic weld! Great minds think alike! Air is probably later this week. Have had all the parts for months now but wanted couldn't get booked in.

Yeh that would tidy it up real nice mate I'll keep watching to see when the air is on look forward to seeing pictures

Cars getting the air fitting and has been for the past week or so with a few delays but hopefully should have it back at the end of this week. My new wheels arrived and I just need to get them refurbed and sitting pretty.

Next on my list when I get the car back is to take the towbar off and repair the hole it left, then it will be going to get the wrap fixed.

After what seemed like forever , waiting weeks for 4 fittings to come the cars finally on air!

And after a quick freshen up!

So big update now because I've been busy lately. Didn't get half the things I wanted done to the car but it came out looking not to bad at Dubshed. Next is to get the S3 bumper and Diff user, properly remove the towbar and get the fitment right for my wheels.

Oh and I bought these babies

So a few things have changed recently but about a month a go the turbo blew. Still waiting to get it back then a few more modifications will be done. I'll update this soon with the changes.

So haven't updated this in a while so I'll catch up

Got the seats trimmed
IMG 1793

This is how they turned out.

Then my flat bottom steering wheel turned up
Ss2016 10 08at075223

IMG 1877

Seats and wheel both fitted

tidied up the boot a bit however

Cid D35F52BE 6957 4559 85E7 D0CAE87E660E

then it was off to xPosed a show in Dublin.

13340272 983188938446938 858746937206438264 o

Then the turbo went and I was tempted to hybrid it and put a GTB2260 but I decided to put a stock turbo and wait for power later so this halted my visual mods for a while.

Ss2016 10 08at082754

Once I got it back I decided to go to a few of Northern Irelands tourist spots.

The first being Crumlin Road Gaol.
Ss2016 10 08at082849

And the second The Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge ]

Ss2016 10 08at082906

Then I had a run in with the law and got a £30 fine for illegal front plates, which in fairness I knew was coming
Ss2016 10 08at082920
Ss2016 10 08at083734

Then decided I wanted some new dailys so I picked these up for a bargain
Cid 2E562804 75B2 4DF7 BD83 E189A0F50DA5
Then I decided I'd sell the Futuras
Cid 9B253118 E171 4C29 980B 5B01835F081E

My next decision was to go a size up on the wheels so I bought 18" futura with larger dishes however they won't be on the car until next year.
to go with the futuras I went for bigger brakes too ( on a 2.0TDi ??? )
Cid CEC28B82 689F 4BD9 9C39 9B92642CAB28
Cid 7D5E3A64 EFB2 40FE BFFD 896F9B023FA9

Finish it off with a nice beading picture

Cid 8C6F513E 4A69 4734 9131 029849428FB8

I then had the car notched so it would sit lower and even on both sides but I've no new pictures.
I'm now starting to plan what is next, most likely a colour to change to something a bit more bold. I have a rear crash barrier I need to fit to remove the tow bar and fit a S3 bumper but again I'll wait until I decide if I want a full colour change or not.

It's been a while since I've posted on here.

I've had loads done. Bought parts, sold parts but I'll try to give a brief update.

The car got a full respray in and the arches were widened all round.

Next up was some wheels to suit. This was a complete NIGHTMARE from start to finish.
To get them skinned in genuine carbon they went to 5 different people and a lot of money in the process and they're still not 100% but they are awesome and here they are

Bought some brakes but they never made it on the car as I sold them

The boot build was next on the list featuring two seamless tanks and two compressors however it's still a work in progress.

Their was oil or diesel split in the well so I gave it a bit of a quick tidy up

Decided the morning of the show that I'd take it to the show so me and my mates and my girlfriend pretty much built it on the day of the show as it started with no show wheels, no carbon, no headliners, no seats and no air. Came out pretty well for a few hours work

What's next then ? Well it's meant to be a show car so I'll hopefully tided everything up and finish the interior for the start of shows in 2018. I am getting bored of the boring 2.0 bkd engine so I think to keep me going in the winter I may get a 1,8t a3/mk4.

Very nice Car even the color looks cool . I bet it cost a pretty penny to do but the end result is top class

Thanks! Wanted to make it a car that everyone could appreciate and not just a boy racer. It did but it didn't happen in a day. Anyway nice avatar mate!

I wish mines had a decent engine, it's what puts me off my car. If you want you can pm me for any help. Aye, I should be there as I've a season ticket but can't get it off work.

Don't i know that feeling at work when the game is on as i am stuck out in the North Sea and only 25 miles away from the beach plus doing the night shift but quiet so hopefully tonight will be the same and i will get a chance to catch it on the telly . Lets hope we beat them and get into the group stages as i so need a holiday

Nearly time to update this. A lot and a little has happened over the winter break. I'll update it after the first show

but changes to
interior
Boot build
front end

make up for most of the changes.

I never did end up getting a 1.8t daily that I talked about a few post up. Instead I went for a 325CI which was so fun and noisy but didn't warrant a daily so now I've an 06 2.2 Accord.
