I have my MOT due next week and I'm struggling to find a set of bushes which i had as an advisory last year, I'm also having some coilovers installed so i want to get them changed while its there.

The exact words on my advisories were:

"Nearside front upper tie bar/rod rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement"

Exact same for the offside also.

Is this basically saying i need 'Tie bar bushes' for both sides ?

Also doe anyone know were i can get them from at a good price?

My local ATS garage said roughly about £100 each, WTF?!

Thanks

Is it the control arm bushes they mean?

If so your best bet is to use powerflex bushes, that way they can be changed without having to mess on with the pinch bolt, that is always seized in!
