Door speakers -( mid range ones) sound a bit overpowered by the stock symphony system (year 2000 A4) is it worth upgrading the speakers?

Also can the symphony drive a sub woofer? does it have the outputs or what is the usual practice for a value for money upgrade?

    thanks in anticipation,

I've upgraded both my cars, and in both cases left the door speakers alone.

Both on them i've added a 12" sub, and amped the door speakers with a proper amp, and replaced the head unit with a pioneer unit.

The door speakers seem fine once given a decent bit of power, and the bass is offloaded to a sub.
