More sounds for my 3.0 A5

Hi

I am looking to get more sound from the exhaust as cheaply as possible without I sounding like a 'chavvy' Vauxhall Corsa!

Any help and prices please guys and gals?
Car is a A5 3.0TDI Sline Quattro 61 plate

only thing i could suggest is go to a custom exhaust fabricator and tell them the sound you want, see what they can do

How much am I looking at?

I'm only after a little sound. Put my foot down and nothing comes out, would expect some form of nice sound from a 3.0 engine surely! Ta pal

To get any meaningful amount of noise from the exhaust you need to get rid of the DPF as this really kills the noise. With no cat / DPF and the right exhaust you end up with this


If you want a bit more noise than standard and more of the V6 burble replacing the rear silencers with straight through pipes helps.I just opened mine up and got rid of the baffles.
You could fit a bypass valve that lets the exhaust miss the rear silencers, this you can open and close, I fitted one of these on my exhaust.
