more rust

was polishing my car today and noticed some rust on the roof. Its hard to photograph.

Will take it to audi to see what they say, surely it cant be a paint issue on this too!

its a 1998 on a R-plate, within the 10 years.

they wont do anything about it, mine was the same and also the door bottoms,

Got the exact same problem on my 2000 S3, same location, just creeping along the roof rails. Its being repaired under warranty once they bother to get around to booking me in, they already agreed its a warranty job.

andym your 1 of the lucky 1's then. this is y i got rid of mine cuz i always considered audi to be a upmarket prestige car, my thoughts are somewot differnt now

Yeah, I had that on my 1999 A3. I think it only spread VERY slowly - I saw barely any change over about a year. I have since sold the car.
