Would it be possible when a call comes in on my bluetooth phone ( in pocket ) with bluetooth headset on, to show caller display info on the Ipaq ?

I am setting my PDA up on a mount in my car for sat nav and don't want a seperate mount for the phone, but would like to know who's calling before answering.

    Any software out there ?

Hope you get my drift !

    Hmmm...

The tomtom 500 and 700 have exactly that feature, letting you control your phone from the nav device.

I assume you have tomtom on the iPaq?

Ah, I am putting tomtom on but haven't received it yet. Be interesting if it has this feature.

Yeah, just done some reading up on the net and it does state this feature for Go 500 / 700, but dosen't mention it for PDA version.......bu**er /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I don't see a reason why it can't be configured though with suitable software....anybody ?

IIRC there is an application called mphone that lets you do this.

It also lets you dial numbers using your ipaq screen!

    danksy / kevint

You guys are the tops, and I love this forum. I have searched high and low on the web and asked technical boffs I know to no avail.

As soon as I set it all up ( next week ) I will run the demo to see if it works. I wonder wether it is clever enough to interupt tomtom sat nav ?.

I'll let you know the answer and post pics of it in operation.

    Cheers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif

Well just I had got my hopes up, it seems that there is very few decent phones that are supported by the mphone software. My 6230 is one that isn't. I will e.mail their helpdesk to see if the inclusion of this and any other phones is planned in the near future.
