So, I upgrade my MMI 3gp from 485 to 770. I installed all the intermediate updates in the correct order. With the 518 update my Bose was upgraded and I now have the same issue as many other users have reported. The fading is totally off, no bass, and rear speakers is playing as they were front speakers and so on...
I see that a lot of user has fixed this by going to their dealer and have them do a recode of the Bose amplifier.
I'm wondering if this is possible to solve with a regular vag-com? I see that vag-can has a configuration file that should fix this problem. Would it be possible to use this with the Ross-tech vag-com?

Does anyone have some insight on this? I'm hoping I can fix this without going to the dealer. They have a three week waiting list, and I drive a lot so a good stereo is a must;-)
Btw, this is an Audi A6 2012 C7.
