MMI Satnav Co-ordinates

Hi,

Sorry about my sheer lack of knowledge here, I've got a A4 b6 however my in-laws have just got a new C7 3.0tdi Quattro. He is trying to input a destination on the satnav using coordinates but he cant seem to figure out how, can you use coordinates? or does it have to be a postcode or street name?

You don't say if this the RMC or HDD version of the navigation system. On the RMC version (SD card based) on the "Navigation Home" screen if you scroll down below special destinations etc you get the option to enter destination coordinates select that and it is pretty self explanatory after that

Thanks elan2s, I'm not sure what version he has and it doesn't help that he lives in Switzerland. Thanks for your help ill pass on the info
