MMI question

Hi all, me again, sorry.

Being new to Audi theres tons of info online, however, due to the lack of paperwork/manuals etc with the car I bought (2nd hand) im unsure of quite a lot.

My question is how do I know what MMI I have, I have read people have high or low and I am wanting to know anything I can about it. One thing I have worked out thats its alot easier to use my phone for sat nav than it is typing out what I want on the nav screen.

You have the MMI 3G system with the built in hard disk, and your software is not that far out of date. However 3G has been replace by 3GP & that has been replaced by MIB2.

I believe the HDD makes it high, also having the little joystick in the control wheel makes it high.

Thanks. I have no joystick in mine. The manuals came in the post today so will take a look through those.
