Mixing XL and non-XL tyres

Hi all,

Just after some advice. I have just noticed on my wife's 09 plate Corsa that on the front she has XL tyres and on the back, normal non-XL tyres. Not sure how long these have been on but must have been fitted whilst she owned the car.

Is this recommended? I always thought you should have all XL or all non-XL across all 4; for example when using winters vs summers.

Any advice much appreciated.

I doubt it will do any harm, especially on a Corsa. A high performance car yes, but an everyday run of the mill car you'll be fine.
