Hey guys, so the other day i started my car and had a bit of rough idle, i have a code reader in my car and keeps reading cylinder misfires but there is no check engine light and it never has turned on. Should i be worried and what might be the cause?

maybe check the plugs? i had misfires with no check engine light in my old car, the plugs needed changing
When did you last change your plugs (if you are petrol)? The ECU needs to log several intermittent misfires to bring the light on the dash, so it is an issue you need to get fixed asap.
An autoscan using a Vcd's genuine cable will give you a reading if you have any faults which in turn could help you get the correct answer .
