Hi looking for some help from the Audi gurus.

Yesterday my girlfriends car (2011 mk2 audi TT 2.0TFSI) had issues.

The car was misfiring and only running on 3 cylinders at most.
There was intermittent, light coloured smoke from the exhaust (mainly on acceleration)

Once the car was off, I went to restart it and it sounded like the engine was hydolocked as it wouldn't turn over via the starter motor.

Once again, I went back to the car later in the evening and tried the key again and it did turn over and started reluctantly with a bit of a push on the acclerator. Still misfireing, but this time, there was a very strong and noticeable stench of clean petrol.

The fault code's that came back were:

Fuel rail pressure low
Misfire on cylinder 2
Multiple misfire
Control module incorrectly codded.

I have done lots of research online and I have noticed that there is an issue with some 2.0TFSI fuel injectors where they get stuck open.

I beleive this could be the fault, it would explain the hydrolocking, the stench of petrol, the misfire from fouling the plug.

Is anyone able to offer some input with other ideas of the possible cause?

I'd like to repair the car myself but want to diagnose the fault to the best of my knowledge before buying parts.

Thanks in advance
