my milometer is keeps showing l n 1 or somit..not on the actual miles but underneath where you can reset it ,anyone know why?

It;'s the inspection interval light. It will display either In1 or In2 or 0Il for general oil change.

Can reset it on VAG Com

so it's telling me too change the oil. a service is due type of thing.

yes service/inspection due, dont need vag-com but if you have it you can set your own intervals

i tryed this, 1st thing is, my left button does not push. it just pulls which is what changes the clock. only button that pushes is the right button! shame as the IN2 thing annoys the **** out of me as it has been serviced!!

any other ideas people?

if it is anything like mine (an early one) if needs to be done on vag-com

yeh im a 96 like you m8. same as yours as it goes AEB etc. notice you have a H valve, what max psi do they kick out mate?

On '95 - July '97, it can't be reset manually, with the buttons.

It has to be reset by appropriate diagnostic equipment.
