Just been to view a 14 plate rs6 has full milltek exhaust but the engine management light is on! He said it's just because of the exhaust?

It should be because of the first cat removed? It's like that on the RS3 so probably the same on this, can anybody confirm?

Another thts on trader that has miltek I emailed them and no light on his! So seems odd! And that has full miltek with big down pipes

Ok, but you can ask him who did the swap because it needs to be fixed with vcds to correct this if I am remember it right and that they has maybe done it to his car? If he mounted it by himself and he didn't do it than it isn't that for shure otherwise he should ask them if they did it probably yes?

Gona ask him today more info mate see what he says!

It depends on what CAT is fitted. Sports cat should in theory keep the light off, but this isn't always the case as they are not as efficient as the OEM cat which is why they make more power. With a decat it will almost certainly bring the light on.

There is nothing wrong as such, and it can be coded out as part of a remap.

Ok, so its not the downpipe (first) cat that is doing that even though you replace it with a racecat? Some people in RS3 forum explained it that its the first cat which is critical and bring the lights on and decat of the second cats doesn`t matter. Can the carmodels be so different? How does the system measure it by sond in first cat(?) and if so - how can decat bring the light on? Just curious to know.

On the RS6, there is only 1 cat, straight after the turbo. After that, there is a silencer.

You need to have your car code read, to see what is actually putting the light on - then we will know what the exact issue is.
