Rub them with WD-40 and they'll come up sparkling.
Ooooh, I may have to try this. I have often wondered what I can use as mine are all milky and **** too. Thanks!!!
Has anyone else tried this?
I got the tip at Audizine (I think).
At first I wasn't sure if it worked (things always look clean when they're wet) but they're still good the next day.
Yeah, mine look really nice when wet too, which always bugs me as they look cack when dry. Will have to give this a try when it's sunny next. It's currently raining again...booo. The last week has been so nice!
Ah, shame - it's still sunny down south.
would this tip also work on the chrome bits around the windscreen, mine are milky looking and always annoy me ater i spend ages cleaning the car
Interesting one this, I wonder how long it last?
Mine have always come up quite well with AutoGlym SRP.
I don't know. My rails and mirrors are the matt aluminum style. Could be worth a try.
I'll update the thread if they fade in the near future.
Knowing my luck the dust will stick to them!
you can get a glove box can of wd40 for 99p in them stores, no reason to run out!
