Metal pedals for DSG A3

Hi,

I have MY11 A3 2.0 TFSI.

I bought the metal pedal kit (part number: 1K1 064 205). It looks like the one I have in the car, only metalic
The label on the part's package says it is compatible VW Golf, Jetta and Passat.

Now I see on ETKA that the correct part number is 1K2 723 503 AA. I can't find the part number I have on ETKA.

My question: is it safe to install the part I have?

Yeah bung them on, they'll either work or they won't. I put mine in last week and they look great.

Yeah the pedals are generic, they fit all sorts of vag. When getting mine i rang around SEAT/SKODA and VW dealers for a price and they were all the same so i bought them from the VW dealer as its closest to me!
