I've seen some fitted to a VW Passat, which is basically the same floorplan and I've seen a Merc fitted with RS6 wheels aswell, so the stud pattern must be the same?

Question I have for you is why? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/noidea.gif

Ok well I was in process of buying Mr2 but I kinda love Audi since owning an A4 I just love the looks of them so thinkiing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/swear.gif the mr2 idea off and upgrade on a new engin A4 instead, even though I fancied 2 seater as I never owned or driven one befor. was going to just slam it with some of these rims as pictured on this car [IMG]

They are a very bold type of wheel. But kind of prefer the standard Audi wheels or RS6's. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

I wouldn`t. Imo best wheels on an b5 imo are some quality 19" deep dished multi spoked design followed by bbs ch. rs etc

If you want to fit genuine AMG wheels- here are the words of a guy who knows his stuff! (Mike of PureM)

Here are the issues you need to address.

Bolt holes - Some AMG wheels have bolt holes that are only 12mm diameter. Since Audi uses 14mm lug bolts, some wheels will need their bolt holes enlarged.

Bore - Mercedes uses 66.56mm hub. Audi is 57.1mm hub. You need hubrings that go from 66.56->57.1mm
    (we carry these)

Lug bolts - Genuine Mercedes wheels use an R12 Ball seat lug bolt (if the bolts are 12x1.5). Genuine Audi bolts are R13 ball seat.
You'd need to special order lug bolts which are 14x1.5 R12 (and whatever length you decide you need). This is not a very common bolt.

That's what's involved. Here's a small tip, if it turns out you need the bolt holes enlarged, have a shop convert the seats from ball seat to cone seats.
It'll make finding bolts much easier.
