I have been toying with this for a while, a thread full of people(mechanics) willing to lend a hand and there area, so people with issues can get help. Ill start....

Good idea - may be worth while sending a message to Sandra, I think she looks after the VCDS map on the site - which would be similar to what you are suggesting.
