MBC: bleed v ball and spring

    With the hybrid about ready to run, like last time will be running an MBC in parallel to cap boost spikes. Before I've always used ball and spring, very good and do the job. Been given a very nice in cockpit MBC but its a bleed valve type. Has the same in and out ports and vents to atmosphere. Is this a no no? The actuator I'm running is a 10psi one so I'm guessing if I set it up inn the bench to flow 11psi when there's 23psi going in then it'll be working like a ball and spring.

    Do I ditch it and run a ball and spring?

    Its only till I get the mapping sorted so its not long term just preventitive

    bleed valve wont cap spike dan...

    ball and spring work as a pop off valve, so have a preset psi it will open at... bleed valve just bleeds... eg, variable leak... but always a leak.. no start point
