What's the max amount of revs you should use on a 1.8t before the engine is fully warmed up? In my old tdi it was recommended not to exceed 2500 before the engine was fully warmed but I've not seen a figure for the 1.8t.

It's more about load than rpm, obviously don't redline it everywhere, but keep the load low and don't bring it on full boost till its up to temp, it's been a while since iv driven a petrol but depending on gearing I'm sure upto 4k should be fine.

As above, it's all about the load on the engine. Try keep light on the pedal, gentle accelerations and try not to shift up too early (loading the engine).

As above, lightest load as possible until up-to-temp.
A slower warm up will stress the block and other components less.
I think the 1.8T is limited in boost until a certain temperature too.
