Malware Detected

    Anyone else getting this error randomly when browsing the forum?

    Windows 7, Chrome.

    Yea I just got the same message when browsing the General Chat section using Windows 8.1 and Chrome.

    Its not done it this morning.

    I don't know the name of it but its the error you get when a web site is reported as having a virus or such and it warns you not to go there.

    You can get past it.

    If it happens again I'll get the link and screen pic.

    Both my security suites and chrome have website blocking for me. Probably worth running a full malwarebytes scan of your system as conduit and other such browser hijackers can inject code into your browser and cause stuff like this .

    I have Eset Smart Security 7 and using Chrome, Malware Scan completes daily.

    The message is displayed within Chrome, it appeared when I click on "What Makes You Smile Thread".

    Not gone to the link but the URL mentioned sounds like perhaps someone hotlinked to an image hosted on that other domain.
