I 've got the WerkStat Acrylic kit. and one of these....(no laughing!)
    http://www.blackanddecker.co.uk/powertools/productdetails/catno/KA165GTK/

Its got an attachment foam pad for polishing.. and I could attach the german applicator pad with some verlcro stickys..

The questions is.. is this a good idea? Or would this overheat/marr the paint or cause other diabolical consequences?

    Thanks

    Chris

Chris, I think you'd find that the pad might work loose. Also, I don't think it would be any more effective than doing it by hand really, due to the direction of movement and ultimately the speed of movement.
