So the inevitable has happened and one of my rear springs has snapped off a bit. I can either replace just the 2 rear springs with OEM and be done with it but as soon as I mentioned it to some of the guys in my club everyone is telling me to drop it.

I promised myself I wasn't going to mess with the ride setup of the Audi, seeing as I did all that with my Mk5 Golf. However, I am intrigued by maybe having a tiny drop. So I would like to know if anyone has used the H&R 30mm lowering springs and if its affected the drive of the car at all? I don't particularly want to go coilovers as they are a lot of money, so I want to keep within the £200 mark ideally.

Would lowering the car mess up the Quattro system at all?

I run h+r springs on my s3 yega ,
Still got standard springs in the garage you can have if you want em?

Uh interesting. In that case I might be able to get an uprated ARB or something :D I'll message you on FB.

Has it affected the way the car drives?

As the S3 already looks low at the rear if both front and rear HR springs lower by 25mm, does it make the back look extra low?

As Damian says, I'd go for Eibach springs which will lower the front so that its even all round.
