I have a set of lowering springs that i'm going to be fitting next weekend, The rears are wider at one end does anyone know which way they go round please? Does the wider bit sit at the bottom or top? As they didn't come with instructions i had a quick look online but couldn't really find an answer.

Thanks.

Your standard springs should give you the answer to this, having a look at them would be my 1st port of call

I have looked but they don't look like they have a wider bit at one end.

I don't think it is critical so long as both are fitted the same way and both ends sit correctly in the rubber seats.

I found that the H&R -40's I installed would only realistically fit one way without fouling.

A spring compressor set like below will make the rears a LOT easier.
