    Hi,

I bought some second hand h&r lowering springs however one end of the spring has 3 closely wound coils, does that end go at the top of the strut or the bottom? Obviously the standard ones aren't like this.

    Thanks

The writing on the springs has to be the correct way up. If there's no writing then the tight wound ones go at the top near the bearing.

Are you sure mate? Just don't want to fit them the wrong way round, they do have writing on them.
