lowering Q?

hi all asking on behalf of a friend!

so my mate owns an audi a3 8p s-line 170 quattro and is thinking of lowering his car but is unsure what will be best, 19'' wheels or 18'' wheels and how low (sensibly low) on shock n spring

There's not really a set 'best' way, a lot of it is down to personal preference.
