Lowering - Please Help =]

[FONT=&quot]i know there are so many threads on here about lowering, but i still don’t really have a clue of what kit i should buy..
[/FONT][FONT=&quot]i have a Audi A3 1.6SE 1998 and will spend £250/£300 max on a kit as ill have to pay someone to fit it as well.
i have looked at afew different ones and if anyone can give me some advice or suggestions then it will be greatly appreciated. i heard that i should stay away from coilovers too.
