Lowering an avant

Any thoughts on the best kit to use to lower an Avant sport quattro? Im thinking of lowering mine but I don't have a clue as to the best springs to use...was thinking Eibach...

If you just want to fit springs then Eibach are your best bet. The OE sport springs are made by Eibach I believe.

Thanks for that! How many mm's should I lower it by? I dont want it to look slammed...or sacrifice the comfort..etc...

A sport is 20mm lower than an SE, so have a look at a few pics of a sport compared to an SE and see if that's enough drop for you, which I suspect it may be. If it's not quite enough i'd go for 30mm.

Go down 30mm on Eibachs and get shorter shocks. That's what my saloon's on.

The Sport is around 10mm lower then factory so you'd need to take this off any quoted drop.

If you're wanting to use your standard dampers then I'd say stick with something like the Eibach Pro kit.

I have above kit on mine with std shocks. Looks and handles sweet. Not to low.
