Lower Arms

Anyone know how much a set of control arms/lower arms/wishbones whatever you want to call em are for the B5? Just parts.

get those poly bushes in there, then you will see how flimsy and "comfy" the std bush is.

Andy i dont know much about suspensions but my front is creaking and knockn - the garage guy said i need new ball joints.

Firstly is wishbone the same as control arm? and how many control arms are there? just say i need to change one control arm - is there anything else i need to replace at same time?

ummm..

well there are differing descrptions of the suspension on these cars.

basically there are 4 arms

two upper and two lower..

usually the control arm is refered to as the back lower arm..

you can just buy the one arm and it comes complete

thats what i'm going to be changin on mine, the back lower arms. got a bit of play in them. Car likes to wander a bit at the moment.
I have no play in any of the other bushes.

Just out of interest. what in terms of bushes etc are at the rear?

on the 2wd just the trailing arm bushes
