ive just noticed on my a4 that my coolant is slightly below minimum level in the tank.

surely with modern systems the level shouldnt go down unless there is a problem, leak or something?

should i put the car into the dealer for a check? would they charge me or would warranty cover it?

  3. It will 'use' coolant under normal use - Just top it up and keep an eye on it.

BUT make sure you only use VAG coolant and don't top up with tap water.

what ratio should it be kept at?

  5. You need 'G12 plus' Coolant

2 parts coolant to 3 parts water gives -24'c Protection.

But it's easier just to mix 50/50 - Gives -36'c Protection.

MIx it with distilled water ONLY.
