low beam help!?!!?!?!?!

Just fitted some bulbs in and i've think I have put them in the wrong way around.

What way would the metal prongs on the bulbs face, up or down or inward or outward?

Also what way will the bulb holders fit in?

the flat is so it can only be fitted one way, if you managed to fit it wrong the beam will be way off.
This is from a Rover headlight, Audi may be different orientation, but you should get the idea.

If not in right, the beam angle will be wonky to...

Had them in wrong, didn't light up the road, just the sky.
Refitted them in again, hope they are the right way round now
