I recently bought a 2011 S line TT black edition automatic with 22k on the clock. Almost since the day I bought it it has a problem. When you first start away it can drop power after the first few yards the picks straight up again, this drop will last about 2 or 3 seconds. This usually happens when you have driven a shortish journey the stop and start again after 10 to 30 minutes. It usually happens between the lower gears and after it occurs , normally about twice it runs ok for the rest of the journey. This is a very intermittent fault and may only happen every other journey and sometimes not for weeks. I will add this car is not used a great deal. On three occasions it has happened even between higher gears and can go on for 6 or even 10 occasions.
It has been into Audi and of course the fault did not happen so nothing is being done although I think it is dangerous especially as it is and automatic
