Well, i cant afford it, butthey seemed cheap and will save money in the long run! Lucky the student loan is in!

Is it recomended to fit new top mounts on the front with these? sure i read it sumwhere...

Any other hints would be good too!

Any aftermarket coilovers should be fitted with new 'uprated' top mounts buddy. My old ones just kept knocking at the rears constantly /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
I just took mine to my trusted local garage in colgate. They fitted some new top mounts and i paid for them hehe :p

Not sure how much they cost though as my gf at the time paid for them!

Well i set 200 max... coz i was in lectures. Business studies finished early so i thought id have a look,

Paid 230 in the end, 16secs to go! hehe

bit more than id hoped, BUT i can play now! hehe

Well, they're on! 2 afternoons of playin and its all together! The rears were easier! But the silly top clips are GAY!

Fronts were hard work to get in place
but its all finish and sat kinda low!
Tyres are just at the arches for the moment, seems fairly level front and rear.

Il go get sum photos in a bit so you can see it!

They are FK silverlines for the fronts only they were something like £280.

I was gonna get the silverline X but to adjust the damping you have to remove them from the car so i thought ****** that.

Oh and i bought them from Venom.
 
OK so here's some pics at Bantham today.

Car got stuck on a speed bump and we had to unload! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

However i dint think it was that low?
May need to lift the front a little and see how it looks/feels etc.
They are 6megapixels, but i thought id be nice to the 56k's!

Looks a bit too low matey, i would definatly lift at least the front.

Other than that, good job, whats the ride like?
 
Yeah, Eagles... best tyres eva!

Used to have them on my 205 and it went round roundabouts like a scooooby.

Think the front has to come up a bit too... it looks more nose heavy in the pics than in real life tho.

Ride? WHAT RIDE! Its like its solid. No lean in corners, very little tilt in braking and accelerating.

Feels good when driving hard tho, and the brakes feel better for sum reason! hehe
 
Yeah heard lots of great things about those tyres!
WOW that's pretty low, still legal??
