Longlife oil and DPF

I am about to service the car with a DPF (3.0TDi)

I was told that i have to use the Long life oil due to the DPF - the oil being low ash.

Is this correct? I will be changing to a fixed mile service - is it every 10k

Anyone have any advice?

Longlife oil is definitely the one to use. Not sure about the low ash thing though.
