Just been to these guys today for a oil, filter, haldex oil and haldex filter change.

They have four branches, here's their website: Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda East Midlands, MOT East Midlands, Servicing East Midlands, Repairs East Midlands, Diagnostics East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Loughborough, Tamworth

I had already done some research and couldn't find any bad reviews, well there was one with a Audi A8 who had his timing belt done too tight but it appears that was under previous ownership a while ago!

Firstly over the phone was a pleasant conversation, happy with the quoted price and booked in. I asked what time and they just said they were open from 8:30am so I said I'd be there for 9:00am.

Arrived there and turns out the person who booked me in must have thought I was just going to drop my car off and hadn't booked the car in for a specific time. Bit of confusion and a bit frustrating for me as its a 20-30 minute drive. Luckily a quick phone call to mother bear who picked me up and I left the car with them. He was very apologetic and said he'd get it done for lunch.
If you do book in for a specific time I will just mention that there isn't much of a waiting room, there's a B&Q, a few car dealers and I believe a Lidl on the same business estate which should amuse you for a hour or two if needs be.

Headed over for collection, all seemed good. Bill came to ~£188 with a extra 1 litre of the Longlife oil they used to stick in the boot which I was happy with, Audi wanted just that for a oil change pretty much lol.

Overall very pleased and seems to be very good work. Only things I would probably say we're "negatives" are little things really, maybe I'm too used to main dealers. But it was just bits like the drivers seat had been moved and not returned, steering wheel and gear knob felt greasy, maybe just me but I don't recall it being like it before, I know its hard to avoid in a garage but still. Then obviously I've mentioned there's no waiting room, a quick spruce up wouldn't go a miss also.

So would I recommend them? Yes definitely, got exactly what I paid for at a good price and to a good standard.
Will I use them again? Definitely, same as above applies.

On a separate note, my car is a 57 plate S3 on 36000. It's not had all its oil changes, brake fluid, timing belt at 5 years old, haldex oil and filter, pollen filters, cam follower in the previous 2,000 miles. Is there any other parts that would be recommended at this age/mileage? Spark plugs maybe?

Yeah that sounds like a good place and prices are comparative with Just Audi an indy in Lincoln.

No need to, but spark plugs are worth it, plus air and fuel filters. Just prevents joints/threads seizing if left to long.
