Limp mode

Hi, my engine management light came on a couple of days ago followed by the dpf light, I tried to regenerate the dpf with no luck, driving home she went into limp mode so I drove her home 2 miles & parked her up. Will it be ok to drive it to the garage, about 8 miles in limp mode ? She is an A5 3.0 tdi on a 58 plate ?

As long as you only have an orange light, you are OK to drive.

The orange, engine management light & the green dpf light are both on ?

Sorry... It would be better to have said as long as you DON'T have a red light you are OK to drive. I've driven cars many many miles with EPC/engine lights showing after being told to after speaking to a garage. You may find limp mode has been reset when you start it this morning and all appears normal. You should take it to a garage for diagnosis though.
