Got a problem with my A3 1.9tdi 130 starts no bother go a couple of hundred yards goes into limp mode and asr light comes on turn off and on again then the same again once it is warmed up it is ok no problems had it vagcom it's said p1557 changed the air flow meter it's still coming up the same fault just waiting on a n75 solenoid to see if that makes any difference next is the wastegate at the weekend
To see if that makes it any better
Doing my nut in cause like I said once it's warmed up no problem
Just to see if anybody has had the same problem
Or no what the problem is
Cheers Gary

I think you need to get a better understanding of what the fault codes mean mate...

Positive deviation is an over boost code and is typically a result of sticky a VNT in the turbo

17965/P1557/005463 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
Possible Symptoms
  • Reduced power output
  • Limp mode
Possible Causes
  • Boost Pressure too High
  • Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
  • Charger Pressure Control defective
    • VNT (variable nozzle turbo): nozzles stuck
  • Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective
Possible Solutions
  • Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
  • Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
  • Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
    • Check / Clean mechanism for variable nozzle
