Lights Upgrade

Right have just bought an 06 plate A3 3.2 and want to upgrade the rear lights to the newer LED ones and also the possibility of the front to new style ones. Is this a simple mod that can be carried out easily or a mod that needs lots of changes to take place not just a simple swap?

If anyone has and pearls of advice that would be great.
