I have a broblem with my lightswich i think.. The parkinglight lamp in instruments is on at all time, and the low beam lights is on no matter what possition it is in: 0-auto-parking (only parkinglight in this possition)-main (low/high beam). And the auto dim mirror inside the car is not working either.. Anyone have some suggestion what could cause the problem? I scanned the instruments with Vag com and there is a fault code on the main light swich. Anybody now where to get the best price on a new lightswich?

If it's the autodim mirror, there will be a yellow warning light on the dash, so you're right saying the light switch. It's about £80 from a dealer. Can be had for 1/2 the amount on eBay when it turns up. Make sure you get the one with the last letter 'B' - any other light switch (e.g. from a B7) won't work.
Because the light switch is not working, the car doesn't know if you want the lights on or off, so it's leaving them on by default as it's the safest option.
