Tragic news indeed, great show The Professionals. RIP

I'm saddened by this too. He was far from being a great actor, but a great action star.

If you were a 15 year-old boy in 1977, you wanted to be him (not least because if you were a 15 year-old girl in 1977, you wanted to sleep with him).

You know, he was apparently turned down for Bond because the producer thought he was too aggressive and macho.

That strikes as something of an achievement right there.

I grew up watching the professionals
